Useless information....


Did you know..... that a full grown giraffe's neck can weigh as much as 500 lbs...

Did you know.... that on average a beaver can cut down 200 trees in a year....and before fur trade in Canada that there were an estimated 6 MILLION beavers in Canada!!! 6 MILLION!!!!!!!

Did you know.... that at the Gloucetershire airport in England that they blast Tina Turner songs on the runway to scare away the birds!! FUNNY!!!

Did you know.... that in France they have a doughnut called "nun's fart"!!! FUNNIER!!!!!

As you may or may not know we have recently moved to Saskatoon and have been busy doing reno's. The guy I have hired is cheap and easy to pay....but he does goooood work!!!

We tore up all of the old flooring in the main living areas( kitchen, lr, hall, dr) and put in hardwood every where except in the kitchen....there we put in cork which I love. It is easy to care for soft to stand on to cook and it looks good to boot.

I have done some painting but not a lot yet. still waiting for the guy to come and cleant the furnace and duct and then we can put the rest of the house together...well at least that is my excuse as to why it has not yet been done. Pls not all of the dust....oh my word...it makes me so mad becuase i can clean it up and the next day it doesn't look like I did anything at all.

we were going to put a "window" from the dinning to living rm but changed our minds after we had the hole partially cut out so that is now filled in.

I have learned a lot about myself in this experience. I am more anal than I thought I was about being clean and, only I will notice all of the little imperfections on the walls and such so I shouldn't sweat it so much. It doesn' t have to be PERFECT!!

Well today I played hookie from work. My back has been bugging me big time so I decided to let the work I had done yesterday(I went for a wicked massage) have time to set in, so today I relax and tomorrow it is back to the grind.

Today my thought are cheesey!!! I miss my husband so so sooooo much. We have been apart for far to long. He has been farming and I have been nursing here in the city so we kindof just talk on the phone and it sucks!!! I miss my dog too. She is so sweet and such nice company...the house is so quite with out anyone here.

well enough whinning from me for today hope you are enjoying life and living every day to the fullest!!

I worked all weekend long so that I could not go away and I have one day off this week. Guess which one it is...that's right the stat...so guess who doesn't get stat pay even though she worked all weekend except monday!!!

I have been thinking lately about how thankful I am for my friends. I only have a few who I am close to and I am very thankful for all of their love and support....thankful for those who you can tell anything to no matter what. You know they will not judge you for what you think, say, or do. Those are true friends. Kevin keeps telling me to go out and make new friends to hang out with on a random night when he is at the farm and I am bored but quite frankly I am very happy with the few quality ones that I already have. Even if majority of them don't live very close. Thanx to all of my good friends who I can count on!!! I love you all and appreciate you!

I had great fun with my friend Julie. She even kicked her cats out of the house for my benefit. ( I am quite allergic to them)
We hung out and cooked for the harvesters......who are not yet harvesting....and we went to town and had specialty coffees at the cute little coffee shop there and Julie got high on caffiene and I had to take her key's away from her. We looked around the shops and went to an old catholic church to check out the art on the walls and ceiling. (Very Pretty) I got to watch her old high school talent show performances..once we got the ancient beast figured out...I got to meet TJ's wife Alisha(don't know how to spell her name) she was very nice as well. Had lots of good laughs and not enough sleep. Thanx Jared for sharing your wife with me for a few days we had fun. I am sad that it will be the last time I get to see her for about 3 mos becuase she is leaving for custom harvesting but hey, we will always have Mazenod.....

FACT: Saskatchewan has more roads per capita than anywhere in north america!!
FACT: Saskatchewan's roads are the most poorly maintained road in all of north america!!
FACT: I got many stones thrown at me by passing cars and I think my car got hurt!!
FACT: That was the slowest I have ever driven in my life on a road trip!!

These signs were just slightly and understatement the roads were VERY rough and the pavement was VERY broken, but it was WELL worth the trip.

Sooo....where to start.....well I left on thrusday morning from Saskatoon and made my way south west to Swift current where I spent a wonderful day with Jenny and Haden Harrison. We had a fab time. I baby sat Haden for a couple of hours while Jenny had a few clients and we went shopping at walmart. I took him past all of the toys, clothes, tools, and the like with no real reaction from him. The moment we started past the shoes he started to talk and point....."shush".....point point...."shush" (that is my imitation of haden saying shoes) Anyways I got him in there and he wouldn't put them down so I bought him a new pair of shoes. He was a HAPPY boy. Jen and I had a good time we went for supper and I helped her only spend 100 dollars on flowers at the green house. Good times had with a great friend.

I just got back from southern SK and my first blog will be one of a sort of revenge....

If you take my camera with out me knowing and take pictures of your scrawny little butt with it I will post them on my blog for all to see!!! Yes Riely McChesney I am talking to you. Next time you think about taking nasty pics on someone else's camera make sure you think twice because the pics could end up on the internet just like this one.......Wicked!!!!

I'm going away for a few days....doing a tour of southern saskatchewan. First I'm gonna hit speedy creek and do a little playing with my favorite little boy Haden....
then it's off to mazenod for a little goofin around with my southern bell Julie!!
