All in days work....

Well things are busy as ever here at the farm. Kevin is up at 4 am pretty much every morning and in at about 10 or 11 pm.

Livie wakes for the day around 8 am and has breakfast... nap.... snack.... nap... lunch... nap... snack... short nap.... supper... very short nap... bath... snack... bed. And lots of play time in between. I swear she laughed today and she rolled over...twice...so it wasn't an accident!! My little girl is growing up so fast.

We are busy seeding, spraying, fixing, running for parts and of course eating. Days seem kind of boring when I think about it but they are busy and the next thing you know another week has gone by.

Celebrated my first mothers day on Sunday. Went to mtg then for lunch with Livie and Kevin. Went to mom and dad's for supper where dad had a huge feast of steak, baked potato, salad, corn on the cob, asparagus and home made salasa just to be random. It was GREAT. Mom made cherrie berries on a cloud....which is so good and a nice latte for dessert!!!! I got flowers from my sister and a little statue thingy of a woman holding a baby from my mom.

Well hope you all have a great long weekend. We will be going to a wedding hopfully.

11 Weeks Old

Well Livie is another week older today. Hard to believe she is almost 3 mos old...where has the time gone. Not much is new with us. Kevin is busy as ever farming. He is up by 4 most days and in the house by 10 or 11 and ready for bed. We (Olivia, Grandma Heather and I) are keeping busy making sure that the men have all of the parts and food and help they need.

Olivia is growing like a weed. She was 23 and a half inches long and 10 lbs 12 oz when she got her first immunizations on the 26th of april. I am sure she is well over 11 lbs now. She is getting to be more and more fun every day. She has the brightest smile...her eyes even go squinty like her mothers when she smiles...and she loves to talk...wonder where she gets that from?? I have to brag a bit now and it will probably come back to haunt me but...she slept for 9hrs 2 nights ago!!! she got up after 9 and ate for about 20 min and then was back to sleep for another 3 hrs. I had the best sleep I have had in a long time.

She was hungry and angry b/c mom had to take a picture of her cryingbefore she could eat...she has a temper like her daddy.

Well I really don't have anything else to report right now. I am looking forward to my first mothers day this Sunday. We will be heading into Saskatoon and I am looking forward to seeing PEOPLE!!! I havn't seen too many out here, and as much as I love my daughter I would love some adult conversation.
