Pics of Moi!!

So here are some picture that Kevin took of me today so that I could send them to my friend Julie. She is 18 wks and looks way more prego than I do. I am still in that transitional phase where no one wants to say anything because they are not sure if I am actually prego or just getting fat.

If I look tired to you that would be because I am. I.m not sleeping so well at night for some reason. I had a rude awakening last night. I woke up with a charlie horse in my rt calf that wouldn't go away for like 1 min(it seemed like an eternity).

If I can scan them or something I will post some of my u/s pics so you can see the babe. It has been busy today...Kicking like crazy. I think it likes music because in mtg tonight it was really moving and when I listen to music in the car or something it kicks quite a bit too!!!



P.S. what do you think I am having just from looking at the pics?? I have my theories!!!

Getting Ready....


What, might you ask, are we getting ready for?? Well.....














First of all.....

Yes....that is what you think it is...a positive pregnancy test. We are due on Febuary 10th, 2007. I am now just over 5 mos and all is well (knocking on wood right now). I was just at the doctor today and my weight gain isn't too bad (8.8 lbs so far) and the heart rate was 150bpm. He finally measured my fundus because he decided that I am starting to show...which I am...which is why I am now saying something.

The second thing we are getting ready for is our trip to Hawaii!! We leave on Monday Oct 2 and return on the 16th. I am looking forward to the trip but I am also nervous just because I am a pregnant flyer and there is soooooo much stuff on the internet about pregnancy and flying. I am supposed to move my legs lots and wear those anti-embolic stockings to prevent blood clots on long flights and I am supposed to drink lots of water but I am not allowed to bring my own water on-board the flight. This will be the longest flight I have ever had and the first one over water!! We are going to visit Kevin's sister and her husband and of course the kids (Tiffany, Tyya and Taylor) and check 'things' out. We are getting things all in order. Bought our travel insurance today and I am cleaning the house and doing all the laundry.....

Now all I have to do is find a bathing suit......(aaarrrggghhhh)

Rain Rain go away...

So comes yet another dreary rainy day!! This is starting to get depressing. We actually turned on the furnace because it is only 6 degrees out. I don't know how we will survive the cold winter.
Kevin made me breakfast this morning. French toast..mmmmm. It was quite tasty.
Planning to head out to Lloydminster today to visit the in-laws. Go and hang out with my giant nephew!! He is a huge kid. 9 mos and over 30 lbs, he is tall too.
Looks like it will be a good day to travel since you don't want to spend too much time outside!!

A new experience....

So I went to this new chiropractor yesterday and then again today because my back has been KILLING me. His name is Dr. Robert Simpson and he does Voodoo to quote my mother. He "flicks" or touches you on you spine or head or hips or where ever and then checks your heels to see if they line up or something and that tells him where to use this activator thingy that kind of gives you this punch. I am used to being physically cracked and so this whole process amazes me and better yet it seem to be working!!! Highly recommend the experience.
